While at Tao, I get much needed relief that allows me to carry on in much better health. I originally started with 20min massages from Winnie . . . they were fantastic, and I always looked forward to getting them! I enjoyed the massages so much that 20min was not enough, so I now have 1 hr massages with Tao’s resident RMT, Amanda. She has been and continues to be wonderful. She addresses my immediate needs as well as taking a long-term view of getting me on the road to better overall health. She, like all the staff at Tao, are so pleasant to deal with. You can tell that they are passionate about what they do, and their first concern is to look after the best interest of their customers. The staff is fantastic and they are the only business in the complex to provide free parking for clients That is a real bonus with the current parking situation in the Village.For a real treat, try the pedi. Best leg massage ever! The facials include not just face, but also neck and arm massage. I don’t know anyone else who does that. Try them once. You’ll be back.”

“Wow! That’s all I have to say! I had the pleasure of experiencing the milk and honey pedicure today and it was absolutely amazing! I have a lot of spa experience but there is just something about Winnie, Holly and Sarah that make you want to come back for more! So much so that I justify driving to Steveston every 3-4 weeks from Surrey for my pedicures. This team is professional, compassionate, funny and engaging which makes the 45 min commute completely worth while. They have top of the line service and the best spa products around. They use Eminence and Essie to name just a couple. The services are well priced and the atmosphere is very tranquil and relaxing. Take it from a regular customer, this the place to go for your next treatment!

This is a serene and spotless spa with very knowledgeable and professional personnel. My mother and I have been very satisfied clients of this spa for more than 3 years now. We tried most of the services the spa offers, and by comparison with other places that offer aesthetics treatments, we found Tao Day Spa to provide a better quality service for the price charged. Not to mention that Winnie (the owner), as well as the rest of the staff (Joy, Sara and Holly) proved to be not only skilled, but most courtenous and genuine interested in client’s satsfaction. “I am a HUGE fan of Tao Day Spa! I have tried almost all of their services: facials, massages, manicures and pedicures. This spa is holistic and organic, and the best thing about them? The staff really puts the customer’s well being before money-making. For example, instead of pressuring the customer to purchase products, they will encourage you to take samples that they feel well benefit your skin, instead of purchasing products without testing it.

Winnie, spa owner and facial-doer extraordinaire, has been doing my facials for over 2 years. Needless to say, my skin has never looked better. Joy, who is also the spa manager, has been trained by the best and also provides excellent service for facials. Holly and Sara round out the spa staff. They are meticulous when it comes to nails. I have tried the Milk & Honey, Chocolate, Express, and Organic manicures and pedicures. The first two types are decadent and relaxing. A great treat! Now, I consistently get the Bio-Sculpture Gel manicure, which leaves your nails stronger and the colour is chip free for at least 3 weeks. This gel manicure does not harm your nails (call the spa for more details!) Another benefit is that your nails are completely dry by the end of the manicure. A definite must for brides!
Off the menu, they also provide a coconut back scrub, which I haven’t tried but can’t wait to try. The spa also provides medi-pedi’s, which are pedicures that get rid of medical issues such as ingrown nails.

I also use their products for my skin care and make-up. It’s great to have a place that you can trust to only bring in the best quality products.

I have thrown birthday parties, bridal showers, and baby showers at this spa and look forward to the next party.”

“I have been coming to Tao since they opened about 5 years ago. What can I say but I LOVE THIS SPA! We come to Vancouver several times a year from our home in Los Angeles and I always try to get by for one of their wonderful facials or massages. Top notch. I highly recommend reservations as they are busy busy busy!! They also sell Eminence products which I am yet to find in LA and I have very sensetive skin that gets a fair amount of unintentional sun exposure. They have a wonderful sun screen that is a powder in tube, perfect for reapplying during the day – very light. All in all a few hours at this place ladies is a real treat – and arent we worth it?!?”
