About the Owner
As we enter this exciting new chapter as the proud owner, we are filled with gratitude and enthusiasm. For 18 remarkable years, many of you have known us as Tao Day Spa. Today, we are excited to reintroduce ourselves as Tao Spa & Wellness. This name change reflects our commitment to expanding our offerings and embracing a holistic approach to wellness. While we continue to provide the same care and compassion you’ve come to expect, we are enhancing our focus to include therapeutic services and holistic practices that nurture both body and mind. We invite you to join us on this transformative journey.
This evolution also comes at a personal milestone in my life: becoming a mother. Motherhood has deepened my understanding of nurturing, holding space, and prioritizing wellness. It has inspired me to guide Tao forward with a renewed commitment to creating a space where anyone seeking peace can find balance, renewal, and care for the whole self.
Over the years, our services have grown beyond pampering to focus on treatments that truly support well-being. From preventative skincare and advanced body therapies to medical foot care and therapeutic massage, our approach is designed to care for you from head to toe.
We’re also introducing new experiences to our menu, such as restorative vibration sound massage therapy to calm the nervous system and rebalance energy. Our partnerships with Éminence and Elaspa Skincare ensure we continue to bring you innovative products which will enhance our customized facials; including dermaplaning, microneedling, and more to come for our skin and body services.
My dream is to honor Tao’s beautiful roots. I would like to take a moment to recognize Winnie, who built Tao Day Spa with love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to our community. Her legacy lives on in all that we do, and I am grateful to carry it forward.

About the Founder
Winnie Cheung-Pozo has been in the spa industry for 20 years. Aside from being a Licensed Esthetician, she is also Certified in Aromatherapy, Thai Body Massage & Reflexology, Advanced Skincare, and is a Certified Podologist through the North American School of Podology.
As a previous instructor at West Coast College of Massage Therapy and a Customer Relations Manager, she has utilized her knowledge and expertise to provide an escape for clients that is quality oriented, customer focused, and has strict guidelines for health and safety.

“All of our staff are personally trained by the owner to maintain the consistency and quality of our services. A strong emphasis is placed on the customer’s health and safety. The sterilization of work stations and tools is a definite priority. We take the time to understand the various skin types and disorders of the skin from the face, hands and feet. With this awareness and knowledge the staff can then properly sterilize accordingly and ensure the proper protocol for sterilization is maintained and adhered to at all times”
My passion has always been the skin and body. Its intricate network of systems within creates the dynamics of our body, and is reflected through our everyday health and beauty. I have been studying the skin for many years and I have a strong desire to help others achieve their goals and improve on their overall health and well-being.”
